Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to an accessible website for everyone

Studio Legale Petillo & Partners is committed to making this website accessible to all individuals, including those with visual, motor, auditory, or cognitive disabilities.

Compliance status

This website is designed to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the European standard EN 301 549, and Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), transposed in Italy by D.Lgs. 82/2022.

What we have done

  • All text colors meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1; user interface elements meet at least 3:1.
  • Text can be zoomed up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • The website is fully navigable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-main-content link.
  • The structure uses semantic HTML, a single first-level heading per page, and a consistent heading hierarchy.
  • Every informative image includes alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Forms feature associated labels, text instructions, and descriptive error messages announced to assistive technologies.
  • Animations respect the system preference for reduced motion.
  • A reading toolbar allows users to increase text size, enable high contrast, switch to a highly readable font, increase line spacing, and highlight links. Preferences remain stored on your device.
  • No information relies solely on color.
  • The website remains functional even with JavaScript disabled.

Non-accessible content

Conference videos hosted on YouTube may lack subtitles or transcripts. We are working to integrate them. PDF documents published prior to the launch of this site may not be fully accessible; alternative formats are available upon request.

Content in other languages

When a page is not yet translated into the selected language, the Italian version is displayed and the content block is marked with the appropriate language attribute so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.

Feedback and contact information

If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please write to us; we are committed to responding within 30 days. Contact details can be found on the Contacts page.

Enforcement procedure

In the event of an unsatisfactory response or failure to respond, you may contact the Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale (AgID), the authority responsible for accessibility oversight.

Evaluation method

Compliance was assessed through self-evaluation: automated analysis using axe-core and Lighthouse, manual keyboard-only navigation testing, contrast ratio checks, and 200% zoom testing.
